In the borough of Nuneaton and Bedworth we are actively targeting coronary heart disease, and now need a forward-thinking, motivated nurse to take a central role in this project over the next two years.
If you’re a first level RGN nurse with at least two years experience in a primary community care setting, this could be a superb opportunity to further your career, knowledge and skills.
You’ll be attached to a practice located in an area of need, where the work will include developing our nursing care services; helping patients achieve the lifestyle changes which can reduce the risks of coronary heart disease; monitoring and evaluating results; supporting other nurses; liasing with consultants, GPs and the project team.
For this challenging role, we’ll be seeking a good self manager who is a natural or trained teacher, with an ability to communicate at all levels. Initiative, an understanding of health policy and of course a genuine interest in coronary heart disease are all essentials.

The role
